2018
On a cold night in January 2018, myself, Jaqke Austdone and Monika Andrekovic, got together in the old space of York Lane Art Collective and decided we wanted to collaborate on an art piece. With no real plan except a large found piece of thick wood and the outline of 3 eyes, we dove in and created this piece intuitively over the course of 2 nights. Switching spots every so often so we completely and collaboratively covered the piece in our magic, the Third Eye piece was born!
The Old Rectory B&B
If you drive in on the main highway ⅞ into Stratford which turns into Ontario Street, heading toward the downtown, you will see our Third Eye piece mounted on the gorgeous historic building of the Old Rectory Bed & Breakfast.
Owners Kim and Kevin, were looking for something unique and colourful to fill the space on their upper deck that overlooked the street and this was the missing piece to the puzzle!
If you walk by the Old Rectory B & B, don’t forget to look up and feel the vibes from the Third Eye.
