Living in Toronto, just finished my 4th year at York University. I had the passion and pursuit to create art out of anything. I found a piece of wood on the side of the road near my house in the East End. I brought it home and to my balcony off of my room and painted this piece for an entire summer while I worked at a juice bar in bougie Yorkville. This piece marked a time of fluidity for me. I was discovering more and more who I was, and although I couldn't express this physically or emotionally at the time, I expressed it through art.
